I Got It

I Got It

Sanna Martinez is back with the unapologetic boldness of her new single “I Got It”. The release follows the smashing success of her collaboration with Australian EDM prodigy QUIX on “Guiding Light” (featured on Spotify Editor playlists like “Beast Mode” and “Bass Arcade”).

The Swedish pop artist and songwriter now dazzles us with a world-domination attitude with equal parts Ariana Grande and Zara Larsson. An R&B-inspired sound with a touch of 90s sassiness completes Martinez’s own take on confident femininity, making it this season’s Girl Power anthem.

“This song is to people that can’t take a hint or can relate to that feeling, cause sometimes you just got it and don’t need anyone else”, she explains.

“I Got It” was co-written by Martinez herself, who recently graduated from Musikmakarna, the most prominent Swedish songwriting school that has contributed to the “Swedish music wonder” phenomenon.

Martinez also studied at Dream Music Academy, founded by Anders Bagge (songwriter for, among others, Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Jessica Simpson). One of her recent creations, the single “Hands On Me”, got placed in TV show Love Island USA.

Sanna is not unfamiliar with stage domination, either: She’s been performing for Swedish media ever since her debut at the age of 10 at the nation-wide contests Lilla Melodifestivalen and MGP Nordic. A continuous drive to conquer audiences has taken her to Swedish radio (P4 Nästa, P3 Osignat) and even the Polish preselection of Eurovision as a backing vocalist for Isabel Otrebus. The contestant song was written by famous Swedish songwriters Fredrik Kempe and David Kreuger.

After getting signed to Rexius Records in 2017 and the overwhelming international reception of “Guiding Light”, Sanna Martinez is now preparing for the release of “I Got It”, a bouncy cocky song with a touch of light-hearted sassiness. The song will be available as a digital single on October 11th.
