“Revenge” – A Fierce New Sound

Use Soap’s New Powerful Song

Swedish rock band Use Soap returns with their new release, “Revenge,” on April 5th. Exploring a heavier sound, the track’s strong guitar riffs might bring reminiscences of bands like Metallica and Accept.

“We needed a revenge song,” confesses the song’s writer, guitarist David Jakobsson, who, along with the band’s singer Oscar Ringqvist, penned the track’s lyrics. “It is a little bit about revenge, but mostly about something else,” he reflects, showcasing the band’s usual thematic depth.

“Revenge” took shape as the band rearranged pieces of a previous unfinished song, adding a new riff and chorus to complete the track during their 2023 recording sessions with producer Petter Lithvall (who also mixed and mastered the track) at Stigbergsstudio.

The song brought out a new sound from the band, with a guitar-driven, hard rock style that is bound to enthrall fans of heavy riffs and energetic melodies.

With their spontaneous and free approach to creation, Use Soap is a band that exudes authenticity. Their versatile songs reflect the magic of their creative process and the natural chemistry of their members.

Since their debut in 2022, the band has released various exciting singles, thrilling fans with their multifaceted style. Use Soap teamed up with Rexius Records in 2021, and together, they continue to share electrifying music with the world.

Don’t miss the release of “Revenge” on April 5th and immerse yourself in the mesmerizing power of its riffs and the special energy of its melodies.
