“A Total Schmitt Show” – The Portraits of a Life Journey

Schmitty’s Captivating New EP

American alternative hip-hop artist Schmitty is set to release his first EP, “A Total Schmitt Show,” on April 19th. Echoing the styles of artists like blackbear, Juice WRLD, and Jeremy Zucker, this diverse collection showcases Schmitty’s versatility, providing a well-rounded, multi-genre introduction to his sound and his life. 

“A Total Schmitt Show” invites the listener on a journey through various stages of Schmitty’s life, starting in his high school years, passing through his time at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and his more recent adventures. The EP portrays Schmitty’s positivity and authenticity, celebrating the good times and opening up about the different struggles he has gone through.

Recorded in 2022 and 2023, the EP was written by Schmitty, with his friend BIG LI serving as co-writer and co-producer for the track “Smart Man.” Nico Koufakis played a significant role as producer, mixer, and mastering engineer of five of the six tracks. Other co-producers such as Jammy Beatz, IOF, Pacific, flare., In Bloom, and Liam Middleton also contributed to the project. Jonathan Thorpenberg also provided the mixing and mastering for the song “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.”

Inspired by various artists such as Post Malone and Bon Jovi, Schmitty is known for his positive outlook on life, honest lyrics, and versatile musical talent. From dreaming of becoming an “American Idol” winner to forming “The Chibe Tribe” with friends at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, his journey has been driven by a deep passion for music and the resilience to overcome life’s challenges.

After signing with Rexius Records in 2021, Schmitty released various singles over the past three years. With “A Total Schmitt Show,” he continues to share his unique essence with the world. Don’t miss the release of this captivating EP on April 19th.
