Through the shifts of a sound puzzle
Estonian artist PK is moved to create music beyond genres. Exploring a rich amount of sounds that go from new-school hip hop, emo, pop punk, hyperpop, alt rock and even euro trance, his inspiration comes from many different artists like Machine Gun Kelly and POORSTACY and bands like Blink 182 and Panic! At The Disco.
“I just find sound to be so mesmerizing, it doesn’t matter which box the sound is put in by the masses”. Motivated by his own personal connection to sound, PK’s music has evolved alongside him, becoming a therapeutic tool. “The one constant in all of this that never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself, was always sound”.
His intuition and drive led him to cultivate a great versatility, seeking constant exploration to reflect his true vision. “I’m a genre jumper, the boundary pusher. All about the contrast, both in life outside of music and inside”.
After suffering a nearly fatal stroke in 2007, he was forced to relearn every basic physical activity, including walking and speaking. This incident had a deep impact on his physical and mental health but also motivated him to start the “For A Better Life” movement, which focuses on the deep acceptance of humanity beyond any prejudice.
Debuting as a rapper in 2004, PK has since released a great number of albums and singles in several genres. Since 2020 he has been creating music in English.
In 2023 he signed with Rexius Records, continuing his creative path.
