I don’t want to start, any sort of revolution
I just wanna say, it’s not OK, the way things are right now
Something has gone rotten, history has been forgotten
Nobody has remembered, that it then will come a knocking
So please join with me, to ask for some peace and civility
Haters gotta hate (that’s true) but now they’ve got permission
The lack of moderation makes me sick with sheer frustration
Profit, naked profit overrides what decency remains and
Is, there, any single thing that cannot be exploited
So please join with me, to ask for some honest decency
If you ask me questions, please respect my right to answer
Disagreement doesn’t mean that we should take up arms
Just a little pinch of tolerance can go a long way
Try some, you might find you like the taste and it might change your life
Sparkle sparkle everywhere but you can’t really trust what you see
There are people who will feed on your despair
This is no way to be, no compass, no moral decency
