Lay It On Me

Wonderfun explores tenderness under pressure on “Lay It On Me,” a piano-led ballad that balances romantic warmth with a quieter sense of emotional strain. Soft harmonies, expressive vocal shifts and distinctive chord movement support a lyric built around offering comfort while struggling to stay afloat oneself. Bass, electric guitar, drums, piano and choir give the arrangement a full but restrained character, allowing the repeated “you can lay it on me” refrain to carry both reassurance and vulnerability.

Based in Malmö and led by singer-songwriter Wonderboy, Wonderfun has developed a melodic language shaped by classic pop, baroque influences and contemporary indie songwriting. Since the self-titled debut in 2023, the project has received attention from Swedish press and international blogs, while its version of “Make You Feel My Love” reached Swedish national radio. “Lay It On Me” continues that development with a more intimate emotional focus, supported by a visualizer, canvas and photo content alongside radio and distribution activity
