Wild Eyed

Wild Eyed

Final Glimpse Before the Light

Swedish soft rock artist Edvin Stais unveils “Wild Eyed”—the last single before the release of his second album Love’s Harder in the Light. The song captures the emotional pull of memory and longing, a quiet storm of nostalgia set against lush, full-band arrangements.

Recorded at Studio Hathi and produced by Victor Gardner, the track places Stais’ 12-string guitars and expressive vocals at the center, supported by Fender Rhodes, layered harmonies, and steady rhythms. It’s a carefully woven soundscape that bridges Swedish Americana with classic soft rock traditions.

Lyrically, “Wild Eyed” moves between past and present, confronting the shadows of what has been while searching for release. The chorus resonates as both personal confession and universal refrain: wild-eyed from everything we used to be.

This single follows earlier previews “Let Her” and “All We Left Behind”, each adding depth to the evolving narrative of Love’s Harder in the Light. Together, they outline an album shaped by reflection, resilience, and the redemptive power of love.

For Stais, whose songwriting is deeply rooted in memory and transformation, “Wild Eyed” is more than a closing chapter before the album—it is a bridge, connecting listeners to the larger story that lies ahead.
