Pure Waves: Floating in Sync with the Sea

Pure Waves: Floating in Sync with the Sea

“Pure Waves: Floating in Sync with the Sea” continues MusicForMoods’ series of research-based compositions designed for guided breathing and stress regulation. Built from the findings of the long-running BodyScore project, the piece follows a gentle wave-like pattern that naturally supports slower, deeper respiration and nervous-system calm.

Created by composer and music researcher Rickard Åström, the track blends soft ambient motion with subtle natural textures. Its pacing is steady and unforced, aligning with methods used in HRV-focused breathing training. The intention is not entertainment but physiological support—music that quietly guides the listener toward balance without distraction or dramatic shifts.

As the third single in a larger collection exploring music-guided respiration, “Pure Waves” offers a practical tool for anyone seeking daily relaxation, work-break regulation, or mindful evening routines. It also forms part of an upcoming set of EPs that bring scientifically informed breathing music to streaming platforms, making this approach newly accessible outside clinical and research settings.
