Kemi, Finland — Finnish heavy metal veterans Free Heart return with “Perfect Storm,” a thunderous anthem forged from twin‑guitar harmonies, galloping rhythms, and a sky‑splitting chorus that nods to the golden era of metal while hitting with modern force. Produced by Henry González and mixed/mastered by Ari Kotipelto, the single delivers precision, power, and melody in equal measure.

Set against the imagery of a city under siege, “Perfect Storm” wrestles with fear, faith, and survival—turning bleak horizons into a rallying cry. Vocalist Marko Miinala soars above a locked‑in engine room—Erkki Miinala (drums) and Toni Greus (bass)—while guitarists Ville Kiimala and Jukka Leppänen trade melodic leads. Jarno Tirroniemi’s keys add cinematic weight, elevating the chorus to stadium scale.

Founded in 2004 in Lapland, Free Heart channel the spirit of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, and Saxon without imitation—favoring big hooks, lyrical grit, and performance‑first songwriting. “Perfect Storm” is a statement of intent for their next chapter with Rexius Records: classic metal ideals, sharpened for today.
