Nightwalker
Winterland — Nightwalker (Album, 26 September 2025)
Focus track: “In Your Eyes”
Swedish rock collective Winterland return with their third album Nightwalker, a widescreen blend of yacht rock elegance and album-rock heart. Written, produced and mixed by bandleader Fredrik Nilsson at Winterland Studio (Kristianstad), the record leans into live interplay—Rhodes and piano from Johan Hallberg, satin-lined guitars, a steady rhythm section, stacked harmonies and the soulful lift of Annelie Olhaver’s sax.
Guided by the mantra “I like to keep it simple, play from the soul,” Nightwalker distills classic influences—Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates, Chris Rea, Steely Dan—into songs that feel instantly familiar yet unmistakably Winterland. The album traces late-night highways, second chances and the quiet courage of grown-up romance, wrapping big choruses in analog warmth.
The spotlight falls on “In Your Eyes,” a sun-down cruise built on pulsing bass, chiming guitars and a yearning vocal that lands perfectly on soft rock and night-drive playlists. Around it, previously released fan favorites—“See Me,” “All Night Long,” “Going Home,” and “Somebody”—frame the new cuts “Nightwalker” and “Losing My Mind,” completing a front-to-back ride with no skip moments.
