“Gravity” – The Frustration of Loving the Wrong Person

Fox Indigo’s Captivating New Track

New York City-based indie folk-rock artist Fox Indigo is excited to announce the release of her latest single, “Gravity,” on September 13th. Influenced by bands like Dirty Projectors, The Strokes, and The Postal Service, this bittersweet track delves into the complexities of unrequited love and the tumultuous emotions that accompany it.

“Gravity” was written and produced by Fox Indigo, sparked by a moment of spontaneous inspiration when the melody of the chorus came to her during a camping trip. The song’s seemingly upbeat sound conceals the turmoil of falling in love with an emotionally unavailable person.

The single was mixed by Nathan Dies and mastered by Joel Gardella. It was recorded at Brooklyn College, where Fox completed her graduate studies. The track features collaborations with Max Pannella on guitar, Robert Nicolls on bass, and Luca Bertaglia on drums.

Fox Indigo’s songs create a unique sound that blends hope and sadness with the frenetic energy of NYC. After releasing her debut album “Man on the Moon,” which she wrote, recorded, performed, engineered, and mixed in her bedroom during the pandemic, she signed with Rexius Records in 2022.

Don’t miss the release of “Gravity” on September 13th, a song written for those who can’t stop falling in love with the wrong people.
