Epos

Epos

With Epos, Voice of Glass bring a long creative chapter to a close in the most cinematic way yet. The Nevada based band have spent over two decades refining a sound that fuses gothic atmosphere, progressive ambition, metal weight, and modern hard rock. This new EP gathers that journey into a cohesive story of brokenness, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal.

Built around the soaring single “The Phoenix,” Epos traces a clear emotional arc. Opening track “This World Is Broken” stares straight into a fractured reality, where injustice, numbness, and spiritual hunger collide. The lyrics speak of a world that bleeds through its cracks while the abusers feed, carried by guitars that balance melody and aggression.

From there, “Soteria” and “Henosis” move deeper into the inner landscape, exploring regret, missed chances, and the unbreakable bond that survives separation. The band’s trademark layering comes forward here, with expressive lead vocals, intricate guitar work, and detailed production that keeps every part of the arrangement in focus.

At the center of the EP stands “The Phoenix,” a declaration of resilience and faith. As darkness closes in, the song answers with the image of rising fire and unquenchable light, turning struggle into a powerful, singable refrain. “The Ancient of Days” widens that vision, placing eternal hope against the passing nature of everything else, while the instrumental reprise “This World Is Broken – Instrumental” lets the melodies speak without words.

Recorded in the United States and completed in collaboration with Rexius Records, Epos feels like both a summation and a new threshold for Voice of Glass. It is a release that invites listeners to move through fear and fatigue toward something brighter, carried by alternative metal and post grunge sonics that will resonate with fans of Alter Bridge, Seether, Nightwish, and Epica.
