Doveland
Astro-Lloyd – Doveland
A fast-melodic punk adrenaline rush from Malmö
Astro-Lloyd kick the doors wide with “Doveland,” a breathless collision of fast melodic punk and alternative rock. The song races on sprinting drums, serrated guitars and a shout-along chorus that sticks on first hit. Lyrically, “Doveland” stares down denial and blame, asking what it means to “work it out” when the damage is already done—choosing radical honesty over empty resolutions.
Tracked at Sunnanå Studio and co-produced with Tobias Ekqvist (mix) and Henrik Karlsson (master), the single keeps the band’s trademark balance of precision and volatility. It’s lean, loud, and designed for the stage: big hooks, tight turns, and that moment where the room lifts as one.
To mark the release, Astro-Lloyd headline a hometown triple bill at medley – musik, mat & mer (Malmö) alongside Hedda Hatar and Modesty. Doors open at 16:00 with bistro and bar service; first bands hit around 20:00. The night promises a cross-section of Malmö’s rock energy—fuzz, fire and catharsis in equal measure. Tickets are available via Tickster; age limit 18+ (13+ with guardian).
Astro-Lloyd make music for feeling, dancing, shouting and just being—blending rock, pop and punk into something direct yet unpredictable, where huge choruses meet raw energy and small details reward the close listener. After several albums and EPs, “Doveland” pushes their momentum forward with the punch of a live anthem and the bite of a confessional.
“Doveland” is out now via Rexius Records.
