Dancing With The Dead

Dancing With The Dead

Tail Patch return with Dancing With The Dead, a five-track burst of Swedish punk ’n’ roll that bottles the band’s on-stage volatility into a sharp, cohesive studio statement. The Eskilstuna trio—Samuel Eriksson (vocals, guitar), Felix Cederlöf (bass), and William Lundberg (drums)—lean into the swagger of action rock and the urgency of garage punk, delivering riffs and choruses built for sweat-drenched rooms and midnight highways.

The EP’s title track, “Dancing With The Dead,” is a cathartic swing at inner darkness—an anthem that pairs relentless downstrokes with a chest-beating refrain. Across the set, Tail Patch keep the throttle open: “Get a Grip” and “Gotta Get Away” channel raw defiance and quick-strike hooks; “One Step Ahead” threads a sneer through a fist-pumping chant; while “Cries Of Desperation” adds grit and tension without losing velocity.

Recorded at Sensus “Katedralen,” the band self-produced to preserve the bite of their power-trio chemistry. Mats Eriksson handled mix and master, sharpening the edges without sanding off the attitude—kick drums hit hard, bass snarls, and guitars cut through with unfiltered drive.

Tail Patch are guided by a simple creed: high energy, rock ’n’ roll entertainers. That spirit pulses through every bar here—songs built for sweat, movement, and release—echoing a lineage that runs through Sweden’s modern rock vanguard while staying fiercely their own.

After a run of singles, Dancing With The Dead lands as the culmination of this cycle—five tracks that clarify who Tail Patch are and where they’re headed: louder, tighter, and impossible to ignore.
