Cries of Desperation

Cries of Desperation

On August 15th, Swedish punk ‘n’ roll trio Tail Patch unleashes their latest single, “Cries of Desperation” – a raw, high-octane track marking the final teaser before the release of their upcoming EP on October 17th.

Fueled by the spirit of garage rock and the ferocity of action punk, “Cries of Desperation” channels frustration into an anthem of rebellion. With shouted vocals, thunderous drums, and razor-sharp guitar riffs, the track dismantles the toxic cult of image, fame, and empty expectations. “You’ve got the looks and the reputation / But don’t live up to the expectation,” they chant, turning confrontation into catharsis.

The single continues the band’s streak of unapologetic rock statements, following up previous singles “Get a Grip,” “Gotta Get Away,” and “One Step Ahead.” Together, they form a defiant build-up to an EP that promises to fully ignite Tail Patch’s punk revival mission.

Known for their feral energy and no-frills live shows, Tail Patch are proudly carrying the torch lit by Swedish legends like The Hellacopters and Backyard Babies. With their new material, the band digs deeper into the chaos of modern life, but always with a rebellious glint in their eye and a middle finger raised to the mainstream.

“Cries of Desperation” drops August 15th on Rexius Records, paving the way for the band’s October 17th EP release.
