confessions of a lifelong yearner

confessions of a lifelong yearner

A confessional pop debut, pressed on vinyl and anchored by “ghosted”

noran arrives with her full-length debut confessions of a lifelong yearner—a candid, hook-driven pop/alt-z statement that frames vulnerability as strength. Across ten tracks, she turns private pages into sing-along catharsis, guided by a warm, modern indie-pop palette that suits late nights, quiet mornings, and everything in between.

At the heart of the record is the focus track “ghosted,” a razor-clear snapshot of distance, self-reckoning, and release. It’s emblematic of the album’s balance: intimate, diaristic verses giving way to widescreen choruses that stick.

Created with producer Giuliano Giarraputo—with Brandon Deriveau contributing to mixing on select songs—the album was shaped between MAD Studios and Flux Studio, keeping vocals front and center while letting guitars, synths, and rhythm breathe. The result is sleek but human: pop polish that leaves room for raw edges when the lyric calls for it.

Lyrically, noran traces the fault lines of relationships and self-belief—moving from the immediate spark of “run away” to the ache of “i don’t love you anymore,” the resolve of “breaking even,” and the quiet introspection of “quiet hour.” Each song fits into a larger portrait: an artist choosing honesty over armor.

confessions of a lifelong yearner is also available on vinyl, giving the album a tangible home that matches its lived-in warmth. As the final release of her current cycle with Rexius Records, it stands as both culmination and clean slate—closing one chapter while opening the next.
