Juno Pearl – “Clockworks”
Atmospheric, lyric-first Swedish indie rock that blooms from hush to catharsis

Gävle quartet Juno Pearl returns with “Clockworks,” an intimate yet widescreen cut that threads piano lines, reverb-washed guitars and brooding rhythm into a slow-building release. True to the band’s lyric-first ethos, the song turns a stark refrain—“it’s only clockworks”—into a rallying mantra against numbness, folding themes of alienation, debt, and quiet resilience into a melody that lingers long after the last hit.

Produced by Juno Pearl and mixed/mastered by Mats Eriksson at Boombridge Studios, “Clockworks” captures the group’s balance of post-punk atmosphere and Scandinavian melody. The recording features Anton Nilsson (vocals, piano, string arrangement), Anthon Löv (electric/acoustic guitars, synths), Gustav Thunström (bass) and Jonathan Obenius (drums), tracked between Boombridge Studios and Rose Garden Studios.

Following their debut album The Ladder’s End and the 2025 single “Elephant,” “Clockworks” deepens Juno Pearl’s world: reflective, cinematic, and quietly defiant—made for late-night drives, rainy-window playlists, and anyone who finds strength in vulnerability.
