Beverly

Beverly

Octolab returns with “Beverly,” a dark and tightly wound synth-driven single that balances menace, melody, and movement. Built on driving electronic rhythms, heavy low-end, and a sharp vocal presence, the track moves through themes of control, surface perfection, and hidden threat. With Swedish lyrics and a sound rooted in darkwave, dark synthpop, and modern electro, Octolab creates a song that feels both immediate and atmospheric.

Formed in Lysekil by Arielle Andersson and Fredrik Lundvall Kindsäter, Octolab has spent years refining a sound shaped by contrast, where bright melodic phrasing meets darker textures and emotional weight. Following earlier releases and as part of a wider run of singles leading toward an EP, “Beverly” helps define the next phase of the duo’s work with Rexius Records, while building on the strong visual and narrative identity that has long been central to the project.
