Valvet crafts modern alternative rock that blends the anthemic intensity of Kings of Leon with the dynamic, emotionally charged sound of Nothing But Thieves and the atmospheric and explorative textures of Alt-J and Young the Giant. Their sound carries the cinematic depth of Swedish indie rock, reminiscent of Kent and The Royal Concept, with soaring choruses and raw emotion. With guitar-driven melodies and emotionally charged lyrics, their music is a perfect fit for indie rock and alt-rock playlists that thrive on dynamic, introspective songwriting.

Formed in Lund, Sweden, Valvet started as a high school band—four classmates crafting songs in late-night studio sessions. Their DIY roots shine through in their debut album Valvbum1, featuring “As You Are,” “Amber,” and “Bleed Your Heart Out”—a record that explores themes of love, longing, and emotional transformation. Their raw, heartfelt performances earned them a finalist spot in Emergenza Sweden’s state competition, proving their ability to connect with audiences.

Now signed to Rexius Records, Valvet is preparing to unveil a four-track EP, further refining their signature mix of introspective indie aesthetics and soaring rock choruses. With a growing fanbase and new music on the horizon, Valvet is quickly establishing itself as a rising force in Swedish indie and alternative rock.
