Swedish singer-songwriter Titus Drott is deeply inspired by artists like Elina and Ed Sheeran. His acoustic sound communicates unfiltered feelings with honest simplicity. The Gothenburg-based artist writes from his own experience, but with a universal sense of comfort in loneliness.

Drott experimented with instruments like the cello and the piano from an early age. But his solid commitment to music started at thirteen when he started teaching himself how to sing and play the guitar.

“My songs are like a painfully clear window into my thoughts and feelings,” Titus Drott explains. “I think that those who would enjoy my songs the most are people who want to reinforce emotions through music. Those who listen for comfort, warmth, and sorrow rather than strength.”

Loneliness is another common theme in his songs. “It’s not just people who are lonely, but those who are also afraid of being alone in the future,” he continues. But his intention is to also provide a possibility to withdraw from the world and recharge batteries.

Titus Drott released his debut singles “Bird” and “Homemade Clothes” in 2019, followed by “Gothenburg” in 2021. He got signed to Gothenburg based label Rexius Records in 2021.
