A self-taught producer and longtime local-party DJ from Utrecht, Sub Caesar’s creative process thrives on instinct and emotion. String-heavy arrangements often surface in his productions—a nod to a childhood steeped in classical music thanks to his father, a symphony-orchestra violinist—helping him shape atmosphere while keeping the dancefloor in focus.

Since 2021 he’s released a steady run of singles—including “It Causes a Rush to the Brain,” “About Last Night,” “Do You Like Our Owl?,” “Creatures in my House (Halloween Version),” “Just Let Go,” “Consensual (Press Play),” “Love Drunk,” and “PUSH! (Back and Forth)”—crafting a style that is both immersive and dance-ready. His songwriting talents have earned him a place among the finalists of the Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition (2025) and the UK Songwriting Contest (2024).
