MØNA is a modern alternative pop artist from Massachusetts with a passion for deeply personal storytelling. Inspired by artists like EMELINE and Allie X, her songs channel real-life experiences to create immersive and emotionally rich soundscapes.

Born into a musical family, MØNA always had art and music at the core of her life. Growing up in a small town north of Boston, she studied fine art, photography, and graphic design before pursuing a career in music.

After enrolling in the prestigious Berklee College of Music and earning her degree in songwriting with a focus on vocal performance, MØNA channeled her creative voice with the help of her best friend and producer, Maya Wagner. Her meticulous artistic vision allowed her to find a sound that blends elements of genres such as indie electropop, synthpop, dark pop, and alt-z.

Writing songs about mental health, love, friendship, and all aspects of her life, MØNA captures her personal experiences and the experiences of those around her to take listeners on an emotional journey. With bone-chilling bass textures, lush synths, and an enthralling repertoire of ambient sounds, her songs perfectly reflect her experiences as a queer woman, crafting anthems of female empowerment.

Since her 2021 debut, MØNA has released various singles and an EP. In 2024, she signed with Rexius Records, ready to share more of her intimate soundscapes with the world.
