Louice Ottosson – Authentic, Genre-bending, and Relatable

Louice Ottosson blends the infectious lift of Swedish pop with the analog spirit of indie pop – intimate vocals, live-band warmth, and stories drawn from real life. Fans of Veronica Maggio, Felicia Takman, Jenny Wilson, Maja Gödicke, Markus Krunegård, and Havet will resonate with her sound. Perfect for late-night Swedish indie, rainy tram rides, upbeat city walks, and lyric-driven playlists.

Her songs favor analog recordings and real instruments, folding in ’70s and ’90s inspirations to craft a relatable, authentic feel. The writing stays close to the heart – often circling love in its imperfect forms – with a light touch of humor when it fits.

Her career highlights include two regional wins in P4 Nästa Östergötland (2010, 2021), coverage in Norrköpings Tidningar and P4 Östergötland, and composing Fröken Julie, a musical that toured with Riksteatern in 2019. She has also spent years freelancing on Swedish stages, from soloist work with Östgötamusiken to bar-piano nights that honed her live sensibility.

Louice’s process starts with a theme – sparked on a forest walk or sketched at a bar – and turns into singable melodies and genre-bending experiments. Always curious, she keeps exploring new sounds while maintaining her authentic and relatable style.

After signing with Rexius Records in June 2025, Louice is preparing new music—ready to continue sharing her personal stories and genre-bending sound with listeners across Sweden and beyond.
