AOA is an Irish alt-rock band with a deep-rooted conviction to stand up for what they believe in. Drawing inspiration from bands like Green Day, Blink-182, and Queens of the Stone Age, their songs reflect the struggles of working-class life, amplifying the voice of the common people with unrelenting conviction.

Fueled by the unique chemistry of its members and their broad musical influences, the band’s versatile style has swiftly evolved since its 2023 formation. This evolution reached a defining moment with their breakout single, the mesmerizing and powerful “Pennies Off The Deck”, which solidified their shift toward a heavier, more energetic sound.

AOA’s lyrics delve into themes of grief, childhood trauma, and mental health struggles, as well as their disdain for authority and the government. Their songs reflect their uncompromising political vision and the realities of growing up in a working-class society, crafting anthems of defiance and resilience.

AOA has quickly made an impact in Ireland’s music scene, performing at Féile an Phobail—one of the country’s biggest festivals—and headlining their first show to celebrate their debut EP “Whataboutisms” in late 2024. Their music delivers a powerful message: stand up, speak out, and never back down.

In 2024, AOA signed with Rexius Records, gearing up to spread their defiant, electrifying rock anthems across the world.
